Tale 39 : One Hundred Tales For Ten Thousand Buddhas

The train is passing through Kalyan station now and the man has come again. I simply get up from the seat and ask him to sit there. He gives me his seat number, which I can occupy.

I stand there a couple of minutes. Osho opens His eyes and greets this man by holding his hands in His. I look at my watch and note the time. As I start walking away from the seat, I feel I am entering into a different world. The vibration and energy in the train is so different from the space where I was sitting. I would have never realized this by sitting near Osho all the time.

I occupy this man’s seat and sit there with my eyes closed. It is very noisy outside, but I feel as if all the noises are coming from far away in the distance. I am in a kind of drowsy state. Suddenly, the man next to me, occupying the window seat, is trying to get out and puts his foot on mine. I wake up with a jerk and look at my watch.

It is exactly ten minutes now. I get up and rush back to my seat. Osho is talking to the man and seeing me coming, smiles at me. I come near and wait for a couple of minutes.

When the man leaves, I tell Osho about the man who awakened me by putting his foot on mine.

Osho laughs and says, “Existence works miraculously.”
