Bhagwati’s sudden death has affected my psyche deeply and a sadness has settled inside me. I am visiting the Woodlands regularly attending evening discourses. After leaving my office, I come straight to the Woodlands by 6:00pm and wait in the kitchen for Osho’s thali (in which He eats His dinner) to be brought out of His room when He has finished. There is always some leftover food in His thali and the cook, Maharaj, gives me two chapatis to eat. I have stopped eating lunch these days and this is my only meal of the day. I eat with much delight from Osho’s thali. In India leftover food from the master’s thali is called ‘prasad’ and devotees feel blessed to have a bit of it. I feel blessed eating His prasad everyday.
